New Product Showcase > New range of Arts and Crafts Style fittings |

We are constantly looking to provide fittings suitable to the periods of furniture currently being manufactured. We have noticed the beginnings of an Arts and Crafts style of furniture production at recent exhibitions and in the trade press. In response to this we have produced the handles seen here from a combination of old existing patterns held in our vaults and new designwork undertaken at our in-house design studio.
Original Arts and Crafts furniture is now over 100 years old and is becoming very collectable. Once the auction prices start to rise people begin to look for reproduction pieces and the reproduction manufacturers need look no further than our showroom for the correct fittings for the period.
They are made from solid cast brass at our own foundry and offer a level of quality and authenticity hitherto unavailable anywhere else.
Arts and Crafts furniture was a reaction to the poor quality furniture being made at that time, and was a celebration of traditional methods and hand-crafted skills that were being overlooked in favour of volume mass production.
These handles hold true to that ethos, they are without doubt some of the finest handles we have ever produced.
